Inspirations from Heaven

Need some direction? We all do! A great place to find it is Psalms 73:21-26. If you want he will guide you, and all you have to do is follow! He leaves the choice up to you! He doesn't force us to love him, to follow him or even to believe in him.. Have you ever had to beg someone for their love? Would you ever beg someone to love you? Some might and it won't feel good because it's not genuine; others won't because of pride! God won't because he loves us. The choice is yours! He extends the offer to each of us whenever we are ready, his arms are wide open, willing and ready to accept us! So if you are lost and looking to be found...I could give you crafty sayings, and decent advice but I know the best thing I could ever tell you is to hold out your hand and follow Jesus! The thing is, he know you better than you know yourself. Let him be your guide through life and you'll never be lost again! Much love B!

Ever looked in your bank account and thought...how am I to pay my rent? Car payment & insurance? Then when it comes to miscellaneous bills; ugh deciding which one is getting skipped until the next month! You could cry, be depressed and feel bad for yourself, but honestly what will that solve? Or you can ask God to just fix it! Fix it Jesus, is literally my solution for everything! Faith is the key and the bible tells us all we have to do is have a little! Knowing in your heart that he will provide, and believing in what you can't see! Stay positive, keep praying because some unexpected blessings are coming! If you believe it, you shall receive it!

No matter what you are going through, the light always sunshines at the end of the tunnel... God created the sun, for warmth, peace, and  happiness! ...try to find the sunshine in every situation! In fact one of the definitions to "Sunshine" is cheerfulness, and happiness! God wants us to be happy so bad; look around you can't you see!? Energy transfers, so be positive and spread good vibes; reject miserable and negative energy! You just find your sunshine and keep smiling, keep praising, praying and serving God! Just maybe your energy and spirit can be someone else's source of sunshine!  Light is sweet, and it pleases the eyes to see the sun. Ecclesiastes 11:7 NIV

Keep seeking God so we won't be deceived! Be very selective, it's ok to be "choosy", when deciding who to allow in your world! That just means you are at a point when you know exactly what you're looking for and also what you want! So many people don't know what they are looking for, so they just rush into situations out of fear of being lonely! Because of charm, and beauty! Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. Proverbs 31:30 NIV Let me tell you something; being single doesn't equal loneliness! You should have a time in life to just learn yourself, grow with God and allow him to transform you into someone who's ready to be a spouse, a mother, a father! When you allow God in, you won't be distracted by charm or beauty; because you'll have crystal clear vision and you'll see that everything that glitters ain't gold!! Where would I be if God wasn't so good to me? Can you answer that..? I want you to actually think about a time or a few times (lol if your like me it's a few) when you've been in a situation that you didn't know how you'd get out, or placed yourself right in the center of harms way!            ***Thinking ***   ok you got it?! ....Man I've made some bad, impulsive, careless, stupid mistakes! Most people call that young and dumb, or naive! Honestly some situations I've put myself in I'm totally thankful God protected me from harm. The things we watch on TV that happen to other people, we don't think it can happen to us..the fact is it can, we have to stayed prayed up! Listen to our protective instincts, and think before we act! Let's thank him for being so darn GOOD to us! Yeah we may have been through some rough times, but you are here standing in purpose and he has a plan specifically for you! Seek that! Seek him!

Being busy is a blessing don't get me wrong but when it comes to the Lord we better get unbusy! Today's blog was inspired by a friend of mine; just a conversation we had about being distracted with everything that's going in our life's, how it's so easy to miss out on the signals God gives us. Sometimes in life we get so busy with our daily life that we miss out on the little things that matter! It's important to take a break from everything going on in our day to day life and relax. Have quality time with the Lord; listen for him when he speaks to us. Reset our hearts and our minds and just focus on him! Just to throw this out there studies show that those who take time to themselves on a regular basis live healthier lives! Plus it's good to have some "me" time and time alone with the Lord! Today I pray that we make time for him, to just listen; also that we take some personal time for ourselves to just reset, relax our bodies and minds

I don't know about you all, but the way I've been feeling...mmmm! Incredible joy, and considering everything, I KNOW its God! I just want, and need more of you Lord and less of me!!                     Kind of like when you have a baby (or know someone with a baby) and everyone  completely ignores the parents and goes straight for the baby! The baby is ALL they see! The parents get acknowledgement sometime later, lol you know, it's just like "OH, HEYYYY"! (Slick forgot about you)..but lately my mindset hasn't even been on me, I've been so focused on forming a stronger bond with my heavenly Father; that I pray, you don't see me at all, you just see him! Just as the baby, Jesus is ALL you see! Acknowledge me later!!! Maybe you are already where I'm striving to be, maybe you're on this journey as well! Happiness starts with you! It's not something you get from money, material things, or even other people! Once you find true joy through God within yourself, that other stuff serves as a bonus! The crazy thing is once you realize the key to happiness, or joy, or peace, you can have all kinds of disasters going on, but it really won't phase you. Everyone will be looking at you like what is she/he so happy about, with everything going on they'll expect you to be miserable! They won't understand! Being happy is definitely a choice! Just like love! We get that choice, everything isn't always peaches and cream, but every situation doesn't always have to create sadness, find the joy in it. Today I hope you choose your happiness over everything.

So you've asked God for the desires of your heart; a husband, wife, children, job, etc. Now you have to prepare yourself for the very things you are asking him for! With preparation comes change, growth, a renewed spirit, heart and mindset! After you've prepared for your blessings, get ready, because once God says it's time, it's time, and you need to be open to receiving your blessings! Going back to yesterday, be specific! Because sometimes I believe we push our blessings away, because they don't come how we imagined them. Please be specific when speaking to the Lord!! This is my favorite song right now because I feel these lyrics deep in my heart! My heart is so ready God! Ever heard someone say, "Be careful what you ask you , you just might get it"? Well, that is so true! In Luke 11, Jesus teaches us how to pray! He also goes on to say "If you ask, you shall receive"! Be mindful, it doesn't come on your timing, but it comes when the Lord feels we are ready! That means your heart has to be ready, your mind has to be focused on him, and you have to have FAITH! Ever ask for something, and get it;but it wasn't at all what you expected? From material things to relationships, jobs, etc.! Think back to when you were praying for these things... Now, ask yourself how specific you were with God? Often times we pray general prayers, but we give him no juice! He wants our details, just like we want the "tea"! I've received some answered prayers that actually turned out to be some of my biggest lessons, because I wasn't specific!; and  because sometimes I'd be asking (begging) God for the very things he was

What a blessing today is! God woke us up to start a new day! A fresh start! Forget about yesterday and focus on today! Focus your heart on all the things you are grateful for! I woke up smiling because I was just thinking  of all the life experiences both good and bad God allowed me to good through...although I've never thought about it like this before.  Honestly I went through a phase when I was mad at God! I blamed him for a lot of unfortunate circumstances, things that were out of my control, but I felt he could have controlled certain things! It just doesn't work like that! He will allow us to be tested..Jesus was tested for 40days! I know God doesn't hurt us! Once my heart healed I was able to blame myself for putting myself in certain situations, or ignoring God, or his warning signs to me! We must be grateful! Every lesson is a blessing! Every trial makes us stronger; developing us into the men/women we are destined to become! Much love you guys! See

It all depends on how you view your situation! Your attitude is your choice! Change is not always bad...you can choose to accept the circumstances life has thrown your way as beautiful changes, or as misery! Nobody wants to go through the strom, but in order to get the rainbow it has to rain! So, as we talked about yesterday; praise him all the way through! Instead of complaining and asking God why? Just thank him and ask him to bring you through it! I have to ask for forgiveness and I also would like to ask you all to pray for me! Sometimes my attitude isn't cute or godly and I'm working on that! The goal is to love people to christ regardless of what you may feel they've done to you or how you feel about them! 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 ~ Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is Godʼs will for you in Christ Jesus. Basically that scripture is telling us to worship him! Rejoicing/praising, praying, and thanking him are all forms of worship! Five reasons we should worship •Worship moves God •Worships moves you •Worship changes an atmosphere •Worship destroys an enemy •Worship releases supernatural blessings! So when times are tough..WORSHIP! Thank him (I know it's hard), but trouble don't last always! Praise him straight through your pain and he'll take that pain away! When things are just ok..WORSHIP! When times are great! WORSHIP, WORSHIP, WORSHIP!!! Meditate on that today! Love you guys 💙💕

The bible tells us to live self controlled (Titus 2:12)... Do you know how hard it is to be on a diet and control those cravings for food you know you can't have?! Or to be in a non martial relationship and refrain from having sexual intercourse? I knowwwwww yall know! It's hard!!! You know God could easily make us do what he ask of us, and it'd probably be better..but would we be happy? Most likely not! So he gives us free will to do as we please and he just ask us to not live worldly but godly lives and have self control! The more we focus our lives on him, the deeper our connection to him, the easier it is to live a life with control through him! Celibacy for me has been the greatest challenge of forming self discipline and self control! You know we aren't perfect so don't ever beat yourself up about it, because, we are going to fail, but it's ok, to just ask for forgiveness and start over! **Now that doesn't mean try the Lord! Sometimes the best thing we can do is sit back and listen. Become an observer, observe the situation we may be in, listen to detail..sometimes God can be revealing things to you through other people without them even knowing! Ever heard the saying, "you can learn a lot more by being quiet, than you can from talking"?.. If you're in an unsure situation, for example a bad relationship, or whatever you're case may be. We have our intuitions of course God gave us that but he also loves when we come to him for help! Ask God to reveal some things to you, and I'm telling you once you get silent, everything around you seems to get loud! When we pray I don't know about you but I think it's important to take a second and just pause, that is our time to listen...now I've only experience one time when I truly felt I heard the Lord speak to me like loud and clear...and idk at that point in my life actually not to long ago I was at a really low point. (Love ain't waiting for something to love it back it just LOVES) •Love is a sacrifice •Love is committed •Love is continuous •Love is eternal (gives you life) The bible tells us exactly what God considers love in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7! ** For most of us Love is a lot of work.. The term (I love you) is so freely used and mostly by people who don't understand the true meaning of love! You can't understand how to love, unless you first experience the love of God! Unconditional love. Highly forgiving love, forever love! The closest we probably come to this is the love we'd or we have for our children. Just imagine the way you feel about you kids...God feels that way about you times a billion!! We are his children and he is crazy about us! I pray we learn to love more like Christ, I pray we are more open hearted and more forgiving! ....We have made it through another week see you all on Monday! Much love B!

It's not God why? It's God thank you...for protecting me even when I don't fully understand what you're up to. For loving me..I know sometimes I'm a very difficult person. For never giving up on me when I find it hard to trust you. For remaining the same and always being constant in my life! At church last night I was reminded of the fact that God will never give you anything that draws you away from him! So think over your situation and evaluate why you could possibly be having so many issues...maybe what you thought was God sent wasn't at all. Remember the devil gives too.. The bible tells us in Romans 6:20 and in John 8:34...that he who lives in sin is a slave to sin and freed from the control of righteousness...let's not longer be slaves, break the chains, take the limits we put on God off and let's give him total control! I'm positive our situations will turn around! My prayer for today is that we just give God all control!

We must learn when it's time to let people go! If it's toxic to your life and the life you're trying to have, let it go! We have a tendency to allow people who are poisonous to us become our drug! We are addicts for them and we can't stop. We have tendency to believe we can't make it without them, they are all we have..well that's not true! Upstairs is a man longing for your love, giving you the very thing that you desire that you may feel you've been lacking! Upstairs is a man who says, don't be foolish get off drugs I have something better for you! I'm here to tell you first hand, I've been on drugs for a very long time..just going back and forth in a toxic relationship, hoping, praying, and wishing things would change, things would get better. As I started falling more in love with Christ I started to realize that I wasn't loving myself at all! Know your worth! (..and I know that's cliche, but it's true) You deserve the same lo

Grab a MIRROR!  Look at yourself and say, "today will be the best day ever! I am capable of doing all that God has called me to do, I will use my gifts to bless others, I will love myself, and I will honor the Lord!" My baby brother and I used to sing this song together... ooooh happy day! The happiest moments in life are unexpected, go through today with zero expectations and seek him! I pray today you allow God to use you, and negative thoughts, people, and things be removed; that you don't doubt yourself, and allow God to use you! Have a happy day 😘

Some of you know what I do for a living and some of you dont; I'm a flight attendant! I love what I do! Saturday night, late at night I had a flight and literally the worst turbulence of my life!  I started to kind of panic like "Lord forgive me of all my sins", then I thought my goodness this is just not how I want to die (I shouldn't think like that I know), all of a sudden as we were dropping and bumping everywhere I said "I'm not scared, because God is right here and I have a blog to write and people to tell I LOVE YOU TO! Our life's can sometimes be like turbulence, lots of up and downs...just bumpy! With God we can find a stable balance..whenever we go through life's stroms, we need to just face it head on saying "I'm not afraid, because I KNOW THAT GOD IS RIGHT BY MY SIDE! ..and with him I can move mountains!" I pray that today you face life head on knowing you're not alone, your protector has his arms wrapped around you
